The Bible

We believe the Bible is the living, active, true, infallible Word of God. It is the center and source of everything we believe and do at Beautiful Savior.

"All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, well equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to the point of dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, even being able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105

Jesus Christ

We believe that the whole Bible is all about Jesus. We believe that Jesus is true God and true man. We believe that he became man for us to suffer for our sins, to die on the cross for our salvation, and to rise victorious over sin, death, and the devil on the third day. We believe he ascended into heaven to the right hand of God the Father where he reigns over all things. We look forward to his coming again in judgement and glory. Everything we do at Beautiful Savior is focused on Jesus.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." - John 3:16-17

"[Jesus said] You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; but it is they that testify about me." - John 5:39

Traditional Faith and Practice

We are traditional in faith and traditional in practice. Our services glorify the Lord with hymns, prayers, creeds, and Christ-centered sermons. We believe that all of these traditional things are relevant for today and are exactly what the contemporary world needs.

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." - Hebrews 13:8
